Forrest Gump starts with a flashback story about a boy with polio. He was never supposed to be able to use his legs. But because of bullies, he brakes out of his leg braces and is able to run. His only friend, Jenny, remains with him throughout the story. As Forrest goes into the military, Jenny becomes a hippie. This long movie continues as Forrest tells it to random people at a bus stop.
The way the producers seemed to crop Tom Hanks into historical events is incredible and enjoyable. This movie is funny and sad at the same time. I give this movie a thumbs up.
